Conservation Areas

For those dwellings on the estate that fall within the conservation area, special planning conditions apply. Please refer to the local planning Guidance Notes relating to conservation areas when considering any alterations or additions to your house.

Tree Preservation Orders

It should also be noted that Tree Preservation Orders extend to all trees within the conservation area. Any proposals to fell or prune trees will required notice to the local planning authority. Nevertheless the annual pruning of fruit trees in accordance with good horticultural practice will not require notice.
